NRI Issues Call for Proposals for Competitive Grants
The USDA Cooperative State Research, Education, and Extension Service (CSREES) National Research Initiative (NRI) Competitive Grants Program is pleased to announce that its "Program Description and Guidelines for Proposal Preparation FY 2002" is now available on the NRI home page.
CSREES has consolidated a number of application kits into new CSREES "Application Forms" (May 2001). These forms can be found on the CSREES web site under Funding Opportunities and must be used for all applications to the NRI starting with Fiscal Year (FY) 2002.
The "NRICGP Application Kit" will no longer be used. The guidelines from the NRICGP Application Kit" are now included in this document. Also in FY 2002, applicants for Research Career Enhancement Awards (Sabbatical Awards), Equipment Grants, or Seed Grants, must submit the proposal by the deadline date indicated for the appropriate research program. Other important changes are in the Please Read section at the beginning of the "Program Description and Guidelines for Proposal Preparation FY 2002."
