1. NRCS California announces the availability of grants through the Conservation Innovation Grants (CIG) program. The CIG program offers grants through both a national and a state administered program.
- Information about the California CIG program is now available. Please note that applications for the California-administered CIG program are due by 3 p.m., Tuesday, May 3, 2005.
- Information about the nationally administered CIG program is now online. Applications for the nationally administered CIG program are due March 28, 2005.
2. NRCS California is soliciting comment and recommendations for two applications which were submitted for the Conservation Partnership Initiative (CPI) grant program. Both applications and information about the CPI program are available for viewing. Comments and recommendations may be sent to the contact listed at this Web site.
3. NRCS California is soliciting comment and recommendations regarding the addition of a new cost shared practice for the FY05 EQIP program. Information regarding the new practice, cost share rates, sign up period and other details is online. Comments and recommendations may be sent to the contacts listed at this Web site.
