EPA Region 9 is soliciting proposals for State-Tribal-Local (S/T/LG) Government Wetland Program Develop Grants (WPDG) from government agencies within the states of Arizona, California, Hawaii, Nevada and Pacific Island Insular Areas. These cooperative agreements assist state, tribal and local government agencies in their wetland protection efforts to develop State and Tribal wetland programs. This is an initial solicitation. Funds are awarded through Clean Water Act Section 104(b)(3), 42 U.S.C. 104(b)(3), on a competitive basis. The Region plans to award at least 15 percent of the regional allotment to tribes and local governments which involve watershed-based wetlands and stream corridor projects.
