for 2010 Strategic Agricultural Initiative Grant Program
Hello.
The US Environmental Protection Agency, Region 9 in San Francisco, is
pleased to announce a grant opportunity for the agricultural community.
The 2010 Request for Applications (RFA) solicits education and demonstration
projects to help implement the Food Quality Protection Act (FQPA) and
support efforts by the agricultural community to transition away from
high-risk pesticides to lower risk pesticides and sustainable practices

All projects must be located in EPA Region 9 which covers
California, Arizona, Nevada, Hawaii and the Pacific Trust Islands. In
addition, all proposals must be postmarked or electronically submitted
via Grants.gov by 5:00 PM Pacific Standard Time on March 15, 2010.
