Purpose & Scope: The Strategic Agricultural Initiative (SAI) is EPA's outreach program to demonstrate and facilitate the adoption of agricultural pest management practices that will enable growers to transition away from the use of high-risk pesticides. The SAI encourages the development of pest management practices and products that are sustainable, effective, and less toxic.

Application Due Date: Proposal packages (hard copy or electronic submission) must be received by Region 8 no later than Friday, May 28, 2010.
Proposals may be sent electronically via Grants.gov, or hard copies sent via USPS, FedEx, UPS, or other commercial delivery service to the following address:
