Percent Crop Treated (%CT) Data on Application of Triadimefon to Pineapples

Mr. Ary,
I apologize for the delay in responding to your question.
There are three main pineapple growers in Hawaii. All three use triadimefon.
I received data from the two of the three growers. Together, these two growers represent approximately two thirds of Hawaii's pineapple production.
1. For post-harvest fruit treatment, these two growers treat 100% of the fruit.
2. For seed piece treatment, one of the growers treats 100% of the planting material; the other does not apply triademefon (0%) under current circumstances. The grower who does not currently apply triadimefon used triadimefon previously, but has changed practices does currently use another fungicide product. However, triadimefon remains the alternative fungicide for this application and this grower indicated his operation will use triadimefon again if circumstances change.
3. The third grower supplied information to Bayer CropScience. Bayer provided this information as part of the statewide summary of triadimefon use in pineapple to John Pates at SRRD. Please contact Mr. Pates for this information.

triadimefon. We have no percent crop treated (%CT) data on
