Subject: Re: Chlorpropham on Easter Lilies
Jane,
OPP plans to open the registration review case for chlorpropham in the near future. Chlorpropham is primarily used on stored potato, the only remaining outdoor uses of chlorpropham are allowed by 24(c) registrations on Easter lilies in OR and CA, and a 24(c) for use on Gingko trees in Washington DC.
We are interested in learning more about chlorpropham use on lilies in OR and CA to help us determine what type of data may be needed to help inform the upcoming registration review risk assessments for chlorpropham.
We would like to know how many acres are involved in lily production, how and why chlorpropham is used, and how much chlorpropham has been used for this purpose in recent years.
Thank you,
Eric Miederhoff
