State Water Resources Control Board Seeks Grant Applications (Deadline November 10, 2004)

Note: The State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) adopted guidelines on August 26, 2004 for the $47-million Agricultural Water Quality Grant Program.

The State Water Resources Control Board, Division of Financial Assistance, is accepting applications for the Agricultural Water Quality Grant Program (AWQGP) and Federal Clean Water Act, Section 319 Nonpoint Source Implementation Grant Program.

The AWQGP provides grants for projects that define, reduce, or eliminate the discharge of polluted runoff from irrigated agricultural lands. Applicants with projects that address Nonpoint Source Pollution from sources other than irrigated agriculture are invited to apply for Section 319 grants.
